JOLLY PHONICS IN THE INFANT STAGE

Este curso estamos trabajando la fonética inglesa en 4 y 5 años mediante el tan conocido método 'Jolly Phonics'. Nuestro alumnado aprende el sonido de las letras por medio de su vinculación a animales u objetos cotidianos de su entorno más próximo, gestos y canciones. Asimismo, empiezan a relacionar también sonido y grafía. De esta forma, en este primer trimestre y en ambos cursos, se ha trabajado sobre todo el grupo 1, que hace referencia a las consonantes S, I, T, P, A, y N. A continuación podéis ver una dinámica que ha resultado muy interesante y divertida para el alumnado de 5 años (ya un poquito más aventajado en el conocimiento de las letras), en la que han segmentado y unido sonidos para formar después palabras. In this school course we are working on the English phonics with the 4 and 5 years old children through the well known method 'Jolly Phonics'. Our students learn the letters' sounds thanks to their connection to animals or common objects near them, gestures and songs. Similarly, they start relating sounds and graphemes. Then, in this first term and in both grades we have worked above all on the group 1, which contains the consonants S, I, T, P, A, y N. Next, you can see a phonics dynamic that has been very interesting and funny for our 5 years old students (who are a little more advanced in the alphabet than the 4 years old students), in which they have practiced segmenting and blending processes and have been able to build words.
